Michelin HX MXM4 does surprisingly well in snow

It also got good reviews on TireRack.
This model tire balances comfort and sportiness, slotting between the Michelin MXV4 Primacy and the Pilot Sport A/S. Enthusiasts won't be satisfied with the compromise, but the majority of drivers will be fine with it, including me.

2. got caught out in a blizzard once, TCS went haywire anytime i stopped or started, thought id die, got to my car and switched into AWD car, felt like a world of difference
Michelin, btw, does make some awesome tires, but the MXM4 are definitely not their best effort, i know some of the 4GTL guys swear by the pilot sport A/S
