Speed sensitive windshield wipers

I'm sure it's because the is the first new car I've had in 10 years, but I'm continually amazed at the number of new features I discover on my TSX. The other day there while driving in the rain I had my wipers on intermittent. At the stop light, the wipers paused for a longer duration than when the car was moving. Totally cool!

I should probably read through the entire manual to discover other neat tech features.

I have a 1G so I'm not sure how it works on the 2G, but you'll notice that as soon as you lift off the brake the wipers re-start. If you have the intermitent set at the 'continuous' speed, when you stop they pause and wipe at a slower speed, then when you drive they go back to continuous. Nice touch.

I think that's a standard Honda feature. My 88 Acura Legend had the same features.

I had my 1G since 2005 and I just realize this feature two months ago.

Agreed... My 99 accord did this as well. It's definitely a nice touch.

To be honest I hate it, it's never accurate. I mean I did also own 2 cars before this with RAIN sensing wipers so it actually worked depending on the amount of rain. I always end up doing the wipers on my own unless it's a heavy rain.
