Southern CA Acura Dealers Recommendations?

Hi all,

This is my first time getting a new car so I am very new at all of this. I am looking to test drive a TSX within a week or so (not looking to buy yet, probably in a month or two). I live in the San Gabriel Valley area but I don't mind venturing out out to the Orange County area. Can anyone recommend me a dealer that gives great deals AND treats their guests in a professional manner?

So far I am looking at Metro Acura in Montclair, South Bay Acura in Torrance, and DCH Tustin Acura in Tustin; they seemed to have pretty good feedback according to edmunds.com. But they've gotten their share of negative reviews. Is there anybody that I can talk to in particular to make my experience more pleasant? Has anyone have any experience with these three dealers?

I have read stories about dealers that treated their potential customers like sub-human trash and I do not know want any of that to happen to me (especially when I am not looking to buy right away) I don't want to be yelled at and be called names as I walk out the door not getting anything (like what happened to one unhappy customer). As I said before, I do not mind driving farther as long as my experience is pleasant.

Tony

By the way, I am looking more at the 2009 TSX than the 2010 since I'll probably get a better deal with the 2009.

After reading my old thread about TSX prices, I noticed that there were a couple of happy campers in this forum after buying from Norm Reeves Acura in Mission Viejo, any comments on this dealer that you guys can also offer? Thank you very much for all your help!

I've been to both Norm Reeves and Tustin and I'd pick Norm Reeves. I went there with someone who was buying and I was treated with respect. My experience at Tustin was decent but the people @ Norm Reeves seemed nicer.

Okay... the offers are pouring in:

Power Acura of South Bay: $27,895 (includes destination) plus fees (ttl). There's one left. No more negotiation.

Metro Acura (Montclair): $29,195 (with lifetime powertrain warranty)

Norm Reeves (Mission Viejo): $28,674 (includes destination and fees)

Cerrtios Acura: $29,975

Thomas Acura: $28858 (Complimentary first oil change lol)

Should I show Norm Reeves the deal Acura of South Bay has? But I dont know if Norm Reeves would match that offer since Power Acura only has one car left. Please let me know what my next steps are. Thank you for all your help!

I don't live in CA, but from what I've read on here, I'd stay far away from Thomas Acura. Buncha crooks there, it seems.

Acura Mission Viejo for sure! Top notch sales and service afterwards! And I'd defintiely give them a chance to match the price from South Bay.

It looks like you are saving at least $1,000 by going with Power Acura. From my experience, if that is the color you want (or don't mind) and the options you want, you need to jump on it. It would probably be gone by the time you shop around and come back to Power Acura.

But if you are lucky, you can get someone to match or beat them. It really depends.

I bought mine at Keyes Acura, its okay. Its a busy dealership. From now on i think i'll take my car to Acura 101 West for service. Its a smaller dealer much more personalized. I would have bought my car there except they didnt have the color and sales guy didnt search around for the car, it was in van nuys, other dealers did find it and were willing to ship the car over, but i figured it was keyes who had it, and they beat the other deals.

Metro Acura of Montclair is a great dealer. I bought mine from Acura of Glendale, but take it for service to the Montclair dealer because it's closer.

Acura of Glendale seems to give out pretty good deals on their cars so I'd recommend them.

To OP, are those offers above for tech or non-tech? I live in San Gabriel Valley as well and i bought mine last September in Santa Monica Acura.
