Someone ripped off my "A" and "C" letters off my trunk
I come back from Target and I see 2 of the 5 "Acura" letters on the floor with the adhesives still on my trunk. I was pissed. Luckily, if you guys have followed my posts, I wanted the side badges off anyway.
It was an ABSOLUTE PAIN getting the adhesives off. I used a ton of Goo Gone after using floss to saw off the letters. It took me like 2 hours of constant applying and rubbing it off. When I did get the badges off, I had to use Scratch X 2.0 to get rid of the scratches. Everything turned out ok but I was pretty stressed. How's it look?

Even strangers know these cars look better debadged.
Next time, try using a claybar to get the rest of the adhesive off, it might work better.

when i removed the Acura badge, there were a lot of scratches (caused by me) because I used a microfiber towel and rubbed over the adhesives trying to get them off while they were soaked in goo gone. it looked pretty bad but im glad the scratch x 2.0 did the job. it did leave hazing though but if i apply colorX, the hazing will be gone.
i hand-applied the scratch X 2.0 for llike 30 seconds and it did the job....i guess acura paint is that soft?
