Sold the TSX

Have not really been that active on here, but after 18 months I traded the 2010 for a new G37. I had a G35 before the TSX and missed it every single day once the newness wore off.

The only thing I will miss is the ELS sound system.

Congratulations on the new car. There isn't much you can complain about when upgrading to the G37.

Thanks guys. MPG will be worse, but luckily I have a 9 mile round trip commute. Plus, it is so worth the minimal increase in cost for the exponential increase in fun! We also still have the 2007 TSX for long road trips (although we usually just fly...)

No mods planned. The dealer tinted it. Came with spoiler and black grille from the factory. Also, love the staggered wheels and sport brakes.

I was actually looking at the G37 coupe as well. The G37 is one of my favorite cars but I ultimately went with a 2009 TSX. The trunk space in the G37 and the gas mileage led me back to the TSX. Congrats on the G37 though, that's one sexy beast!!!

Congrats. I miss my old VQ35, just not the 1 qt per 1,000 mile oil consumption, although I hear the VQ37 has been great so far.

2012 Premium/Sport/Navigation with midnight black grill, spoiler, and illuminated kick plates. Dealer added tint.

So how much fun can you have on a 9 mile commute? Why buy a new G37 when you have no commute and intend to use a 2007 TSX for road trips?

Well, I dont know about you...but I can have a lot of fun in just a quarter mile! 9 miles is plenty to stretch her legs (part of that is highway).

If you noticed, I said in parenthesis that we usually fly. I should have said always fly. I think the longest road trip I have taken in the last 4+ years was an hour (besides when I moved)? And that was just to Ft Worth from Dallas...hardly a road trip.

I can't speak for the OP of course, but my current commute is about 8 miles "as the crow flies". I could take the highway, where most of it is a straight shot or I can take the back roads, which are mostly windy, picturesque in many spots (you should see it in the Autumn!), fun roads. I opt for the back roads almost every single day and when time allows, and I definitely get a lot of bang for my buck in those 8 miles.

Congrats. I never was a big fan of that sand color, but it I'm sure it looks great in real life. How much better is that than the tsx.

I dont know if I would call it a sand color. Has more gray/copper/brown...

It is an auto.

And yes, the lease rates are insane. Go get one!

The closest infiniti dealer is about 130 miles. When we were nearby it decided to stop. After trying to find a salesperson we finally gave up. This dealer was in the Raleigh NC área.

The Raleigh Infiniti dealership is also the Infiniti dealership I have visited a few times. Dave is the salesperson who helped me, and he was very helpful. I was looking at a certified 2008 G37 w/ Nav and back up cam but they weren't gonna budge below 28K. Had too many miles to be worth that.

Walked around looking at cars. Then went Inside to talk to a salesperson. No Dave or anyone. Left.
