Side Passenger Airbags

Side Passenger Airbags
Hello all,
Today it rained heavily, and my 09 tsx windows were slightly open.
Now, when I start my car, an orange text comes up in the dashboard saying side airbags, side passenger airbags off. An "i" warning light also turned on. I then moved to the passenger seat, and it disappears.
It has NEVER shown that warning before, with or without passenger. Is this normal, or should I worry? Did the water fix it, or broke it?

There is a pressure sensor in the back of the seat that turns the airbag off if the occupant is under some threshold weight. It's so the airbag doesn't put little kids into orbit. That light should only come on if some one or something fairly light (my bag and dog set it off all the time) is in the seat. If it's on all the time, the sensor may have gotten messed up. My suggestion would be to let it dry out real good an see if it persists. If it doesn't go away I'd head to the dealer. I don't mess around with airbags. Let some one else risk the thing going off in their face.

There is a second sensor in the side bolster (probably what got wet) that turns off the side (torso) airbag. I agree, that you should let it dry off and try it in the morning.
