--Servicing Tsx??

Car currently has 68k in miles and the last time i was there for warranty service the service manger said the car will let me know when. Is there a service chart? I just got the b12 this morning but i think it's the oil light so i'll reset that later.

thanks

Sounds like you need a b12 service. Don't reset anything, just get the service done.

From a recent thread on another part of the forum

It makes no difference that you are using synthetic oil. 15% means that it is time to CHANGE the oil - not time to RESET the indicator.

Was told since synthetic Oil lasts longer I'd have to reset the oil light one cycle. This into was from Acura...as far as the service schedule Goes I've seen people refer to A service and be service. B12 on the display showed oil light.

I hope you have that in writing from Acura corporate because that is incorrect.

Did you even bother to look at the link I provided?

When in doubt, follow the MID.

I am having a bit of concern adapting to servicing my car based on what some sensors say. As an old fart I'm use to changing oil every 2000 miles with my old cars and dino oil. The Audi I used synthetic and changed to 7500 miles which is half their recomendations. My a1 service light just came on at just over 10,000 miles. So if I have to go back to old school 7500 is conservative, but while on warranty I'll do what the factory says. btw this is all in the warranty handbook.

If you want to change your oil more often then go for it. You're not harming the car (or helping it) but are wasting money and resources better spent on running the proper gas.

My recommendation would be to change your oil at about 3.5k miles but don't make any changes to the settings. That way you'll still be on track when the indicator asks for an oil change.

Me too.
I'm farting every 5k.

But just got the dreaded drivers seat squeak in side bolster.
And i pamper the thing...
oil every 5k
filters every 12.5k
flushes every 25k
