Red 09 with 19" wheels. Real, no photochop

This car looks 100x better with any wheels other than the stock ones. How they could have messed that up so badly, I will never know. And this is coming from someone who never had anything against the stock wheels on the 04-05 and 06-08 TSXs.
That red color is kinda funny. In some pics, I like it, in others, I don't. I like it in the pics posted in the above link.

even with those wheels I don't see the appeal much.
in order to modify this car, to make it look as nice as our modded cars, the new
TSX is going to take lots of work.
A simple lip kit + drop is just not going to do it.
those fog lights don't bother anyone else?
I see folks drilling out those dimples and adding LEDs to them...
but still....
well whatever, we all know I'm not a fan.

In case anyone is interested, the new red (maroon) color for the TSX is the same as the color on USDM Honda Accord sedans. Just thought you might want to know so you can check out the color on a car you'll see more often than a new 09 TSX.

There still something about seeing a color on the car itself. The PMM looks get on the Accord Coupe and TSX and just OK on the TL and Accord Sedan IMO, for example. Yesterday my wife took the a PMM on a test drive and there were two of them side by side in the dealer's lot. She thought they were different colors just by the slight difference in lighting. It may sound weird, but I could see here point.

However, since the car is so new right now, you have very little chance of seeing the color at all, so at least you can see it on an Accord for the time being. I've seen it a few times and it looked ok, but I think it looks 100x better on the TSX in the above pictures.
It is down to Vortex blue, black, and polished metal for me. My wife favors the polished metal.

OT request
Guys, please spell check a bit more. Some of these posts are kind of hard to decipher due to misspellings and shortcuts. TIA.

Does anyone else have more real life photos of the basque red color on the TSX? My local dealer didn't have one in stock and I kinda wanted more photos to gauge whether I should order one or get one transferred. It looks different in every picture.

The one I saw and sat in was in the showroom.

Their demo driver is a white one with a lip spoiler that's always sitting there and there was a black 6 Speed I almost bought that was still sitting there as of Monday when I picked up my tags. They keep most of their stock in a secondary lot elsewhere. My base grigio/ebony 6 speed had to come from another dealer though.

I bought a Basque Red Pearl TSX a few weeks ago. When I had my first test drive I saw the red TSX on the lot and I also thought it had a bit of purple in it. I think it really depends on how much sunlight is hitting it and from what angle. Being a pearl color, it really does color-shift.
I ended up buying the red one anyway because I like dark red (my last 2 cars previous to the TSX were also dard red) plus I wanted it to stand out from the crowd (if you can call it a crowd) of everyone else going for one of the shades of gray.
I'll take some shots of my TSX and post them this week. I don't have tinting yet, which I think would look really great on a red TSX.

I got my "Basque Red Pearl " with black (6M Tech) on May 31. The dealer decided to order some for the lot. I like it for several reasons:
1. No questions about if it's Grigio, Polished Metallic, etc. etc.
2. I like the color
3. I'm old. It reminds me of a more subdued (sophisticsted?) "Candy Apple Red" that I would see on the restored "hotrods" in N. Indiana.
Now I want some bigger wheels in a dark to black color. No window tint; hard enough to see as it is!
