Proud NEW owner of a 2010 Polished Metal Metallic TSX base..

Sold my 2001 CL and am dropping it off sunday and picking my 2010 Polished Metal Metallic TSX on Monday morning. I did a 30 month lease with a TOTAL of $2000 out of pocket and have 29 payments of $375 for 15K miles.
I am gonna try leasing for the first time. I have been selling cars for 5 years now and did finance for about 2 of those 5 and with the residual and the money factor on the base TSX for 30 months it seems like a no brainer..
This one I am gonna keep stock!

It means that honda/acura could not build a 5 spped tranny that lasted over 60K miles untill 2006. It took them 6 years to get it right with the 5 speed auto.. I am on my 4th in the CL..

^ Wasn't that only a problem really on V6 vehicles, though? There haven't been but a handful (if that) of tranny problems on 1G TSXs equipped with 5AT.

Honestly in pictures, it can be kind of hard to tell the difference between polished metal and grigio..they are that similar. Different but similar.

Grigio:

The rear main seal is leaking but its a really slow leak.. I maybee put 3/4 quart in the last month and its still fill to almost the 2nd (top) dot.
I put So much $$ into her in the last year alone.. Spark plugs/shocks/springs/RSB/headers/NSX calipers/new tranny..Maybee $5000 and now the rear main seal is leaking.. I am sick of paying money to fix stuff, All the money I spent this year it would have payed to lease the TSX the last year!

To me, PMM looks like sharkskin. Not silver, nor charcoal, but a very, very, very slight blue tint dark silver.

Look at board member Lou's PMM with the RJ's & all, it's a freakin beautiful color.

I actually bought a PMM 6MT Tech, I had the finance paperwork and everything, but my dealer picked their collective noses for a week and it was dealer traded for someone in Orlando.

So, I relented (which is what they wanted me to do anyway) and took a CBP.

What a sexy car Nikky..

The more I see the color the MORE I LOVE IT...
BTW i did not wannt spend $60 more a month for tech (that put me in G37X territorry) how is the stock system?
Has anyone owned a 2001-2003 Cl/TL b4 there TSX , If so how does the base system compare to the system in the 2nd gen TL/CL?

The sound system is a little better then the stock bose from my 01 CL-S. It doesn't get really loud, but it sound good for what it is. I didn't get the tech package either because I WAS going to buy a new Civic coupe and spend $22K....so I spend $6K more then I was planning on, but in the end, I think I made a better choice.

Yeah the residual on the tech when up 7-9% bumping the pyment ALOT!!
The added monthly payments cost more then the tech package itself, was not worth it for a car that I am borrowing for 30 months, If i bought it would have been a different story..
Anyone hook the Ipod 3G up in the non tech TSX , how is the intergration.??
Can u controll it from the car in the non tech?

I think you mean iPhone 3G?? I have been tempted to try but have not. I'm worried about bluetooth / HFL interference with the USB while plugged in. I donno, just a thought I guess.

You can play the music through the USB in the center council or via the bluetooth.

heh if you slide the side view mirrors switch to your right, when you put it in reverse, it will move it down for you.

as for 1/4 for the 6spd, its like 15.2-15.3, around those times, but you know depends on the driver, etc

i think the auto is like 16 seconds and something. most likely

I cant enjoy my new car cuz the guy that bought my car is nuttin but problems! I told his everything that was wrong with the car and I had it listed for $4500 for a 2001 CL type-S with EVERYTHING redone in the last year.. NSX calipers, obx headers, IM and TB spacers , wood wheel, CAI B&G shocks and struts and a tranny that I paid $3200 for.... that is still under warrenty.. We agreed on $3400 but i took $3000....Car was making niose that I though was the headers but turns out the tranny, sounds like something came loose, car shifts fine no CEL's..
So after he told me it was the trans, I told him to wait till thursday my day off cuz i still have the plates and reg and we will go there since the warrenty is non transferable! So what does he do?? He calls the guy tells him he is my cusin and is borrowing the car, one problem he is black and I am white as hell.. Then he says he is my co-worker borrowing the car when I told him to just WAIT till thursday... No he keeps calling telling me to split the difference and all this BS.. I should have just took $2500 from cash for cars when they offered iT!

So dude screwed himself on the tranny warranty, it's not your problem, he screwed the pooch.

Wheeee! I'm in the 15 second club!

Funny thing is, it feels like a V6 in moderate throttle, then falls on it's face from 50% throttle on up.
