BUT I thought I'd go ahead and make it anyway. Thanks to Acurazine, and mainly this section, which is my favorite place on the world wide web, I got the opportunity to take an awesome trip out to California and test out some new BFGoodrich tires. I posted about it in car talk but I wanted to share the link here since you guys are my favorite e-bro's, and im gonna post some extra pics I took myself here too

Check it out:

i think my invite had to do with a mixture of mistaken identity and serious confusion. now that they know who I am I will surely never be invited back.

though I did wave the 2G TSX flag proudly while I was there

@stak: why yes, yes it is. normally i dont like sharing personal information on the internet but considering how generic my name is I have no qualms about giving it out. good luck finding me.

Thanks guys for all the well wishing, I used to live in NJ (jersey city/hoboken area), though now I am studying in Boston, and I occasionally travel back to NYC and see family.

I agree, we should meet. Definitely around April, I will be home on spring break and we could find time for a massive CU2 meet.

Cupcakes seen below did not weigh on my decision making process also:

I've never had the opportunity to try different tires back to back on the same car, that must have been very eye opening. As car nuts we're often overlooking such simple things as good rubber when we're shopping for aftermarket handling upgrades.

Thanks for the writeup!

That's what I was thinkin when I was reading it. Amazing how a great tire can change someones perspective on things.

Thanks for all the thanks!

Actually very interesting to get to test two different tires back to back on the same car in the same conditions, it opened my eyes as to what a huge difference tire choice can make, even in non-track conditions.

The challenger especially exhibited a split personality

I'll be carefully considering my tire choices for the future...

That sounds like a blast. Must have been a lot of fun. Can you imagine the people that work for BF and other brands that get to put on these events. What a fun job!
