im debating between 6k and 8k HID bulb replacements

can someone please post their night shots?

8k is pretty blue, and the visibility isnt as great..my friend had it on his tc..then he decided to change to 6k for visibility.

im sure u seen it..but



output: i have 6k fogs..but if u turn those off its pretty much the same, jsut the floor wouldnt be as bright

Is 6k better than stock for visibility and color? All I need is to buy the bulbs? What brand all yall using?

I don't have pictures, but rather, I have friends that has them done to their cars. Both 6K and 8K.

6K is like pure white with a hint of blue on it.
8K is like, well, just straight up blue. Lol.

Also, I would like to advise you to do 6K, because I rode in my friend's car with the 8K at night. The visibility is bad but do-able.

Well, I don't have any screen shots but I can tell you that there isn't a whole lot of difference between 6k and 8k. 8k is slightly a little more blue but it's not much. I have converted my 07 tsx lights to 8k for both headlights and fog and I did my wife's 09 TL also. I can tell you that I can see clearly and my wife can also. By the way, she has trouble with night vision but with 8k on her 09 TL for both the headlights and fogs, she can see everything.

I've heard others say that visibility is harder with 8k but honestly, my brother has 6k on his Tahoe and there really isn't much difference between his and my 8k. I think you may want to see them in person before making a judgement call. I can tell you though, 8k if fine as well if you want it just a little more blue than the 6k.

if you do a lot of night driving, i wouldnt go higher than 6k
