Bought an 09 TSX got a really great deal, got it around 17k clean car fax Accident free!!! and 35k miles...My parents bought two cars from the dealer in like a year...I guess dealer threw me a bone lol... dealer is also a family friend


got a Glacier Blue Mettallic 09 TSX and been dying to do exterior mods but I just keep picturing it in the color and I think it will just look really tacky, ordered exterior parts then would cancel it the next day because had a bad feeling about it in my color thru out the day...

For example I want the heel toe modulo A grille...picturing it in my head would look awful in my color

SO paint job is out of the question, and honestly I don't think I can get another TSX for that deal....

I'm honestly thinking vinyl wrapping it in STI blue!!!..Friend got a new STI loving the color

Opinions, full car wrap pricing range proffesionally done and where to order vinyl car wrap???.....Help me, major buyers remorse with the color...or leave it the F**k alone

If a guy here in DFW area can vinyl wrap his 599 GTO from red to white, I think you could wrap the TSX too!!

 

i think your car would look really nice with the ct carbon fiber grille. also for a car your color, you need to offset the paint with black and gunmetal colors. just my

 

rock the color my friend, ii initially cursed myself for getting grigio becuase it was a hard color for me to find rims, but now i love the color.

 

as for the grille, go ahead and get w/e grille you want. euro grille, jdm grille, HT grille, and i say don't paintmatch it. do like a silver paint or something

that's actually a JDP lip

there is also a type s lip and type s replica lip, and i know you are new in the forum so i'll let you try to search this one yourself

go up top and you'll see a search function, type in tsx type s kit or tsx type s lip or type s replica lip, something like that. that one is to search the WHOLE forum, if you wish to search JUST the 2nd gen section, then click on tsx section, go to 2nd gen section, then you should see search on the cornor

IMO keep the color. Not too many running around in Glacier Blue. I appreciate that exclusivity.
Like the others have said, darker color accents will help set the color off. Black chrome A-spec wheels for instance would probably look quite nice. Or even the darker HFP 19''s

 

I bought my glacier blue with 6 speed, took a week and two states away to get it. Have Taupe interior. There is only one other car like mine in STL, but it is not a manual.

Having a rare car is awesome, everybody has grey/black/white. If I wanted to be like everybody else I would have gotten silver.

thats why i got my vortex blue, and even that, i've seen a few others on the road. so far im the only one with tints and mods though, around me anyway. we've got a bunch on here.

if you want idea's for how mods will look, take a look at the BMW e46, the blue they offered for that model was very similar to your glacier, might be some cool ideas on the beemer forums
