New (to us) TSX Wagon

In a few hours, we go pick up our 2012 TSX Sport Wagon with tech. It's black on black, stock, so you know all the rest of the details, after all, this is an Acura forum. We were considering an MDX due to the snow, but the wife said "that's why we have the Subaru. I don't plan on driving this in the snow." We moved up here to NY last year from Virginia, so now we have 5 cars that we don't drive in the snow.. I need a bigger garage. I say it now, but I won't keep my promise. This car will stay stock. First thing to do is paint the damn beak.. See, I've already started.

You can replace the grille with an Aussie or China market Honda one to get rid of the beak as well. You'll wind up with a Honda badge unless you do a custom Acura one (has been done), but a lot of us find the Honda grille to be more aesthetically pleasing.

Welcome and happy motoring!

This doesn't bother me. I do like the looks of that grille a lot more. I could debadge the rear end, though it may look too plain. Decisions,, decisions... The first things I need are the mat for the rear and matching passenger compartment ones (the thermoplastic), and WHY can't I find a sunroof visor? Says part is NLA, but I should call the dealer and find out if any are left out there.

Click the blue Link in my signature and you can see what I've done. I've got P/Ns and sources (I'm pretty sure) for the stuff I've gotten. It might help with the emblems and such.

I kinda like the beak.

I think it'll look a little funny with a blacked out beak....especially on a black car.

I like the "TSX" badge in the back.

I de-badged mine and it looks a bit plain for sure.

I did it in paint,,, and it does look funny.. So, painting is not the option. Told the wife we need to wrap it in skulls, or something.. She suggested flames. She's funny. My CL is debadged, but I might put the Type S logo back on. It does make the rear sort of plain looking. CU2Wagon, I need to find your sig so I can check the parts out. Found it.. not hard, just look above.. duh..
