New TSX Wagon w/Couple of Tweaks

New here. Wife needed a new ride, coming out of an Expedition, Explorer before that. Don't need all the size anymore and defintely could use some MPG.

Started with the crossovers Edge, Murano, Venza. Then was intriged by the Crosstour but didn't feel it. Stumbled upon the Sport Wagon and was hooked.

Brought the wife to see it and the reaction was expected....NEGATIVE. Reminder her of her first car an Ambassador Wagon HA! And so used to driving a land yacht it seemed so small. Kept sending her pics, reviews and would drop in to dealers when we accidently drove by.

Finally came around and now talks about it all the time and loves it.

Mileage, handling, power, storage, looks, features, its got it all. Sure it could be better in most respects but most cars compromise something.

Very Nice and Congrats...just wondering is there an option to delete the roof rails? I think it would look 10000x better...

me too, for some reason I love the roof racks on wagons. Overall, the car looks great...wish I could see one in person but the wagon does not exist here in Canada

...exactly how I like my girl's ass.

Sport Wagon looks pretty ballar. Would look even better with a slight drop. Sport wheels look nice on the wagon...I never cared for them on the sedan.

Enjoy in good health!

The rack stock is silver. Takes away from the look and draws your eye to it. Figured it should be either body color or black. So with a black car that decision was easy.

Dealer said no delete on the rack, probably lucky cause who knows when they will be shipping cars. Although that's nothing compared to the misery the poor Japanese are going through.

She thought I was nuts painting on a new car, but she gets it now. Dealer took a ton of pics as they all thought it worked

Wife wouldn't go for a drop. Ride would be too harsh for her. She puts on about 20K miles a year.

Very impressive looking. Love those wheels.
I bet she thinks she is driving a sports car now after driving those Huge Ford land barges.

Did you consider removing the roof rails. I think it would look really good with them removed, but painting those body color really looks much better also.

I pulled the rails off to see what was there, but it wasn't just a threaded insert. It was a rather large opening and would have had to fab a custom cover that I thought would have been fugly.

Really don't mind them at all as they blend in now.

Dealer wanted $1400 to paint the grill and rails...nice!! But wouldn't budge much as I already hammered him pretty good on the initial purchase.

Removed them myself and had a paint shop vendor I use do a little horse trading for his efforts.

Tint was $195 for 3M color stable- 9 windows if you count the little wings. Tint Masters-Onatrio CA. Kent's the owner, very reputable and well known.

7+2=9 all day long in my book.... Thanks 3rd grade. Not trying to be a smart ass but... although real hard to see in my pics there's two little window "wings" in the rear passenger windows.

very nice indeed, I feel you on the little "wing" sections. I had a 4 door Civic Si and the damn tint guys missed the small windows just in front of the mirrors, then had the gall to count them in the "new" total.

Gorgeous Wagon

Congrats on the new ride! Glad she came to her senses, this must feel like a race car compared to Ford Expedition and Explorer land barges!
