New TSX Owner

Hello all,

my gf and I are both gearheads. I have a 2004 RSX and she just upgraded from a 96 4runner 5spd to a 2013 Red TSX SE 6spd

Not very much in the local scene for these cars yet so I enjoyed browsing the forums here and decided to join instead of lurk

PICS!

Hers:

Mine:

The only complaint besides the wheel gap on the TSX is that stupid slave cylinder delay valve.

Thanks, we are both going nuts in the showoff threads..I didn't know the RDX wheels looked so good on these cars

I also didn't know there were that many different style bumpers already out. We both also like the Vossen CV3 wheels but that stuff is still a little ways out right now.

I was wondering,

for the RSX there was a DIY available where you could "cut" the baffles out of the stock airbox to allow for slightly better flow. Since this is a K series engine also, has anyone tried it for the TSX?

This is an introduction thread, not a build thread..Reading comprehension can be a sonofabitch sometimes

If you'd like to see a build thread, feel free to critique..http://forums.clubrsx.com/showthread.php?t=679759

now this is a little more in depth than colored LCAs and cold air intakes so be careful

Congrat to both of you on great car and great color.
However I'm done with the red, my last milano red was '89 Prelude 2.0 Si.

She wanted the red over the silver, there were only 3 SEs available on our side of the country, 2 silver 1 red

Should I have instead created an introduction thread to show off a completely stock car then later when I have parts create a second thread?

Build progress introduction thread. Its all the same thing. A thread for me to post my car in. At least my thread sees traffic unlike this waste of space.

Reading comprehension has nothing to do here. I made a thread for myself that you bitched in. Only to find youve created your own thread for yourself. Get off that high horse and grow up.

Nice tow hook. Where are your lap times? Does domo got them?
Nice car but you need to work on your social skills. Ditch the ricer mods and shell be perfect.

I have never had a towhook on my car but thanks for playing.

And which track? Phoenix International Raceway? Firebird International Raceway? Southwest International Raceway?

Damn. 1 of 3. Still.. show some respect to people you dont know. There was no point bashing my thread because the title says build verse "Im a new member look at my partially stock car that ill be working on slowly."
Again. Sick car, get off the damn high horse though kid.

In all honesty. You have a good looking car with a rocky start. You think youre hot shit because you built your car from nothing SINCE 2009. Give me 4 years to work on my car and it'll look great and have something worth a build thread. We all go at our own rate and judging by yours starting with drag wheels; some a bumpier start than others. Im sure you got flamed here and there for running replica wheels or other choices you made. So why roll into the thread I made to show progress on my car from as close to day one as I could and act all big with a car youve been putting money into since 09... granted my car is worth 10grand over your retail price so I have more to spend on my car than you did. She will see quality parts in time; I'll just have to not run my mouth like others when their car starts to look half way decent.

Yea, the RSX was a base 5 speed, and after 3rd gear started getting annoying, I went shopping and found a barely used 6spd, the install was a bitch but well worth the results!

Learn from my mistakes and don't waste time on cheap mods or parts, it just makes it more difficult later on lol.
