I've been riding around of my 2010 w/tech for a month or so now and am looking for some input.

1. I need a phone mount. As good as the cup holder is, I'd like something to keep the phone where I can see it.

2. Is is me, or does XM sound like s%*t?

3. What do you do to keep everything from rolling around in the trunk? Cargo net, cargo organizer, or something else?

4. My main function is commuting (highway). What kind of MPG are you getting?

2. XM does indeed sound like crap. Never even bothered to activate my free trial because I can't stand the sound quality.

3. I have one of the trunk cargo hooks holding up one of those re-usable grocery bags.

Love the holder idea...and I've already been there...done that. Still looking for something better.

Thanks! I love the mount. This is kinda what I was looking for. Just hoping not to have to make my own as you did And I'm glad its not just my XM that sounds terrible.

i actually keep my iphone in 3-4 places. between the hand brake and the open cup holder top. above the ashtray thing like rx. wedged between me and the seat between my legs, and in the little holder below the window switches on the armrest in the door

xm sounds like ass (it sounded worse in the 3g tl) because it's a compressed audio stream. Not sure why it needs to lose so much fidelity considering that you can get 5.1 audio AND hd video over home satellites these days, I don't see how it being mounted on a car makes it much different.

XM sounds like the radio - garbage. A few stations sound even worse than the radio. Speaking of XM, mine expired like 4 months ago, yet when I tried it last week I was still getting all the stations.

I still need to make a mount for my phone, but haven't gotten around to it. When I use it for navigation, I put it up in front of my display on the dash(non tech).

They might have been giving out a free trial or something because I was getting XM stations also, even though I've never had a subscription.
