I just got my 2010 I-4 serviced for the first time, I also had them fix the pinging issue. Now a day later I was checking the oil level (just to make sure they put in the right amount) and I noticed that there is a screw missing from the valve cover. It is located at the left rear corner of the valve cover. There are three screws that are visible in the front, but there is one that's missing from the left rear corner. All I see is a hole where a screw would go.

Please can someone check their engines and let me know or take a pic or something.

Not sure why they would need to take the screw out for routine maintenance.

haha everytimem i wash my car i take a semi-damp towel and wipe then engine bay a bit to get rid of the dust

 

Do ou guys mean the chrome one with hole on the very left side? I checked my car yesterday. I do not see any screw on it.

 

^^nor do the new cars on the lot.
