225 seems really good. so what was done, all in all? led halo's, amber reflector delete. anything else? and yes, how long were you without your car while the work was being done?

Alright I hope this answers all the ?'s regarding this mod.
This is what I got done amber reflectors removed, inside housing painted gun metal color, custom led halos installed, rich at hidillusionz only charge me 225 for the mod that included labor and parts, shipping was around 80 bucks for sending and receiving them back through ups. So my total with shipping cost around 300.
As for wiring these leds they will tapped into your parking power wire and the low beam ballast plug power and ground through a relay which he installed into the back of housing. So basically there are 3 wires coming from the relay. One is connected to the parking light power and the other 2 to the hid power and ground he did this way to insure that when the parking lights on the leds will come on but when the hid are on the leds will shut off I know it sounds confusing but it is pretty simple.
As for how long I was without my car basically 5 days I ship it out to him thursday and got it back wednesday the reason why it this long was because of the weekend.

Again these leds r not hooked up to ur drl's cause there is not enough current to light them up they will be hooked up with the low beams and parking so they will only come on when u turn on ur parking lights which is the first click thats it.

so pretty much, you only have halo's while parked?

i think these would best be paired with the individual fog lights, preferably HID fogs. in other words, wire a switch to the blank vsa plate, and either use that same switch, or one more switch to control the halos. i think it would look great with halo's plus fogs on, and just pull the fuse for the daytime running lights. then you can turn your lowbeams on individual of those lights, whenever you want.

No dave u can use them anyway u want parking lights does not mean your car has to be parked. It just means the first turn on the ligh t stalk, the second turn is auto and the third turn are ur hids. the leds will light up only if u turn the light stalk once , if it gets darker like around 8:45 and ur headlights come on than the leds will turn via the relay switch sensing the power from the hids. The reason why its hooked up this way is to protect the leds from getting to hot with both being on so its just a saftey measure. If u decide to hook it up differently u can choose to do so as long as its getting 12 volts u dobt have to use his relay switch that is installed.

oooh alright, then that sounds good =) sorry for misunderstanding.
it would still look best with the drl fuse pulled(or if you have a whiter halogen/led installed) and the fogs as HID's and on with the LED's. personally =)

waiting on pics...looks great and not a bad price on the job, either.
run the blowdryer thru 2 openings in the lense to remove all humidity before putting them back in and use teflon tape around the bulb bases

These look so awesome but i wish there was a way to use them with DRL.

Maybe its possible to hook directly into battery and ground with the relay to HID?

On a side note, I also found these... I'm not buying them, just sharing.

yeah i have seen those too on ebay only problem with those lights are the projectors not the same quality as our oems and also the ccfl halos will probably burn out within a couple months and also not as bright they are very dim, look at the pics that i have taken in direct sunlight these leds are very bright.

the halos are custom made with a circuit board at this moment he only has one size so it wouldnt fit the drl side, now if you have a 07 and 08 3g tl that would be the perfect setup.
