Modification Help
Hey guys,
Its becoming summer time, so the mods on my TSX are about to begin. I have decided i am going to keep the car, (its a lease) unless they can make me a good deal on a new loaded out RDX (still waiting to see in person to make my decision).
I want to know what the best LED conversion will be to get at the best cost. Like the whole kit from exledusa.com
I want to convert all my interior lights, trunk, and tag lights. I want to make sure they fade like the stock lights do, and are a good long lasting brand. i don't want them over powerful or anything. help me out!!
Also would like to see about making my fog lights, DLR & brights HIDS- any suggestions?
Would like to tint my tail lights, but with the 2011 they made the reverse & blinkers a red color instead of clear, not sure who that would look.
Also thinking about making the fog light covers (silver ones) to match the black grill or color code matched.
Any ideas are welcome!!

there's tons of pictures regarding LED output of ebay brands...there's even a thread that's at least 10+ pages long...in regards to exledusa, there's at least 2 threads with people who have installed them...not including myself.
i maintain my stance on tinted tails...why you would want to lessen the ability for people behind you to see you braking or whatever is beyond me. as i've said before, it's like inviting a rear end accident.
your HIDs are already at the most lumen output for white light. if you go any higher, you add color at the cost of visible light. you also increase ricer status and chance of being insulted and ridiculed here.
no one (to my knowledge) has changed the color of the fog housings. if you do it, you'll be the first. and if you do, please take pictures and tell us how you went about doing it...plastidip is the easiest that comes to mind. look to pyrodave for all things plastidip...in fact, he should change his name to "plastidave" but that sounds like some gay sex toy...which he probably uses

The taillight tint was just an idea, again on the 11' i dont think it would appear right, and i wouldnt want them fully blacked out. scratch that idea.
i did not mean change the HID's that are in my car already. i would like to make my fogs HIDS & change the DRL. The OEM HIDS are great.
I have a buddy who works at shop that can do the plastic dip on the housing. just not sure what color to go with. i have a PWP TSX.

Thats the thing.
there are SOOO MANY DIFFERENT KINDS OF VENDORS/SELLERS/varieties and you WANT THE BEST!?
you're gonna have to do what so many other people do. Choose a vendor/seller and go with them.
there is not one BEST.
the decision is yours, NOT OURS.
Now, if you re-phrase your question to:
Where did you get your LED's from? I'm sure people wouldnt mind chiming in on where they bought theirs from.
#noobsthesedays.
http://www.v-leds.com/
http://www.superbrightleds.com/
Also, EBAY can get you your interior LEDS for CHEAP. cheaper than the website i listed above.

I cant tell you shit, because I never bought LEDs before.
which is exactly my point.
Browse the forums.
find what most guys are doing.
decide whether or not you want to purchase.
if yes, pull out credit card and purchase.
if no, keep looking.
do you want to hold my hand while we cross the street, too?
which is exactly my point.

I found the form I was looking for about EXLEDUSA I am going to be buying those for sure. $114.00 for the whole LED conversion kit. Several users gave good feedback about them and the customer service, and its a kit made custom for the TSX.

yes, as of now, i believe exLED is the best kit. though it is also the most expensive. they are working on becoming a vendor here, and then there will be a group buy organized for the LED's, so if you have the patients, wait a week or so

the funny thing is that your handle is atlACURAboi, yet you live in Cumming, nearly 50 miles north of ATL.
don't be sensitive... enjoyyyyyyyyy

Is he a doctor? And what does that have to do with a group buy?

Thanks! I can wait. No big deal! I do see that they are the most expensive, but they seem to be the most legit and there made for the TSX which to me it worth paying the extra for!
