I just rotated my tires at 7500 miles, looked in the manual to see the rotation pattern and noticed that the manual says the MID will advise when it is time to rotate. Is this true? How do you reset it? Same with when it is time to reset the oil life, does that require a dealer interface similar to BMW? I thumbed through all of the MID functions and could not see any way to reset.

Finally, in the maintenance record manual, it references checking/adjusting valves at oil changes, tire rotations, and spark plug changes. Surely this is not a requirement is it or is it a plan to keep the dealerships service bays paid for?
