Maintenance Minder Question

When my oil life got to 20% I changed my oil and reset the oil life meter. Thus the service item (A, B) never popped up. If I do this every oil change (never hit 15% oil life) will I ever get a maintenance reminder for the sub items? (1,2,3,4,5)

Or will it pop up the service due soon without the A ir B and just list the sub item?????

there is way to go thru the system to find out what service is due-do not know how-in order for it to pop up you have to wait until it gets to 15%

I'm pretty sure it would. The honda tech resets the oil light after service as well. The reminder system has its own algorithm based on mileage and driving habits.

If you don't perform the maintenace if when the other reminders show up, that's on you, the reminder system won't know the difference. Meaning rotate tires won't keep showing up if you only changed the oil.

well you can just follow certain intervals, like every other oil change, rotate your tires. inspect your brakes and stuff. theres a list of what each letter/number means somewhere. every 15K your supposed to change the two air filters. brake fluid at like 30K i think

why not just wait until it show 15%-with me from 20% to 15% it would be between 300-350 miles more

Just wait for 15% and change it or bring the car to Acura. This is like taking down Christmas lights on Christmas eve just to be different.

My 07 RDX says A1 service due soon. Does that mean change the oil? nad how do you reset the light?
