lip spoiler, 3M tape or bolts too?

lip spoiler, 3M tape or bolts too?
dealer is charging me $500 for it but i can get it online for $350 shipped.

if its bolts... then i'll prob have the dealer do it ... if its just 3M tape, i can def do it myself

if your talkin about the lip small spoiler that attaches to the tip of the trunk lid it installs with double stick adhesive. I know of people getting these on ebay for a lot cheaper than $350.

there is a lip BIG spoiler too?

I believe you have to drill the trunk lid with both the lip and the wing spolier

my fault.... for some reason i read "3M" from the original poster as "M3" so i was thinking you were referring to a M3 style spoiler. Thunderbt3 is right on with the PDF link

After a closer look, you might be able to get away with not drilling the trunk lid to install the clips. Just leave them out and pick up some more 3M double sided tape to put on the clip bosses on the corners

Yeah, but you'd still need to change the spring. Not that hard but not that easy without the tool and a little experience.

Are they just stiffer springs to ensure the hood pops when you release it?
