can anyone tell me the size of the bulb for the license plate lights?

some people are telling me 168
some dude at a store told me 188

Yeah man holy shit. There's even official DIY LED threads. So many people answered this on the forum. A simple google search would have even worked.

Thanks for trying to help out evan... Kind of important to look at when the thread was made though. If f1sh hasn't figured it out what bulb type after 10 months there's something wrong with him.

Ive been visiting here and there haha i be getting a new car in like 4 months, either a caddy cts coupe or is 350 or an m3( thats if my mom likes it as well)

 

I know I know I'm late But I recently bought my TSX and I searched for the same question and couldn't find a straight answer So after I looked it up myself I figure might as well post for other late comers.

As far as LEDs go I believe they're called T10 (they replace 168,194 and a couple other size halogen bulbs). I bought a big pack to use in my truck for the dash/gauge cluster lights, but they were too big so I used them in my TSX.
