yeah my feeling is that the CU2 really has that more of a classy look to it without being over the top yet not too subtle.

I had an acquaintance buy a Fit from the Honda dealer here and they did the same damn thing. Some nitwit in service screwed their dealer plate right through the bumper cover. She was infuriated & demanded they swap the bumper cover from another new car onto hers.

They did it.

What would really make my day is if I can convince em to swap it out for a sports bumper if I add a bit of cash.

Congrats! The White looks sharp! I have had my TSX about a month and I am so happy with my choice. It is such a great well balanced package!

Dude, that should be a no-brainer. By the time they order a new bumper (demand OE, don't accept aftermarket) paint & install it, it would almost *have* to be cheaper to order the A Spec bumper already painted. Hell, you can install it yourself & save the paint *and* body labor.

I've had my TSX for a combined 3 weeks now (lost 3 weeks due to a hit and run 5 days after purchase). I've been very surprised by it. I'm coming from an '06 Audi A6 quattro (got married and now tha'ts my wife's car...funny how that works out). And to be honest I went to see this car because of the advertised $299 lease, not really expecting anything exciting. After sitting and driving it though, i was sold. Got it in Grigio auto with tech pkg. Every day I like it more and more. My only gripe is the bluetooth integration...but that seems to be a common gripe :)

Now that i've seen some of the mods you guys here have done, makes me wish i had bought it and not leased, hehe.

YOU TOO? same thing happened to me.. you didnt happen to get hit by a prius too did you?

anyway yeah i talked to the acura authorized shop they said an aero bumper would run me about 500 bucks including paint and installation. and i also just got into that little accident with the prius. went to get an estimate they said 800 to have the current bumper repainted and all. im gonna see if i can just get the aero bumper instead of having the other guys insurance pay an extra 300 bucks. everybody wins

Nope, it wasn't a prius. Supposedly it was a Toyota Tundra and it was in a valet parking lot. The valet witnessed it and got his tag# (although i don't know why i suspect his story was BS and he was directly responsible for the damage somehow). But oh well, it was covered under my uninsured motorist, so i only paid $250 on the $4k damage.

The damage was more to my enthusiasm of having a new car. It only had 150 miles on it when it happened.

Just like that, bumper and fender get a crease!

Have had mine for a year now and over 14k miles later I still love it. After having driven the 3rd gen TL and the new 4th gen TLs as loaner cars for when my car was in for service, I can safely say that I chose the right car for me.
