Interior silver trim should not be the dafacto standard

I have a black on black 10' TSX and the interior is decent, but think the silver plastic interior trim for my color combination. I'm not sure why it's the default color combination.

I prefer the dark plastic 'metalic' look. What do you guys think?

For a black on black car a darm metal trim would look better.

Light metal trim is the defacto at the current moment.

Well, the trim kit costs like 150, so its always an option, and personally i have a grigio and i really like the contrast and prefer it over the black.

Also, if you are up for a DIY, you could remove the trim pieces and then wrap them in di-noc or black vinyl maybe a matte black wrap or something

I wish the sport steering wheel was standard...or cheaper

You have some cleeeeaaaaaan carpets good sir but I must say i like the light metal trim its a nice contrast plus it helps divided the upper and lower portions of the cars interios, All black everything is kinda depressing...ie BMW

^That's not his car... The dealer will install the black trim kit here in Canada for $317 (parts and labor). I like a bit of contrast also because of the ebony interior, which is why I put sports pedals and speaker rings in mine.

Here are a few of shots of my interior, sorry for the mess...

sweet interior 09 tech. I kinda wanted to put in silver wheel trim and speaker rings but i couldnt justify the price for myself since i wasnt getting anything else from lings and if i did wheel trim i figured it would make sense to install a new steering wheel at the same time =/ i want a sport steering wheel too D:

I tried to buy multiple items from Lings at a time to save the shipping charges. So the shift knob/ leather boots came with the speaker rings and blue ambient light kit. All those combined cost less than the sports steering wheel with trim kit.

I have a question hopefully someone can answer

For the usa models anyway
the 09/10 had black for the shifter console and silver for the trim and window switches

the 11/12 had cf kinda print for the console and window switches and dark metal color for the trim

Is this kit they sell basically like the 11/12's have but extending to the window switches as well?? Because I don't like my 11 window switches and I'm about to switch out the console as well.

They are OEM Honda parts, can get it from Asia or Europe.

Part #08Z03-TL0-600E

Lings in UK sell them for £80.20 or US$130 plus s/h.

^ Agreed. Although they are made of aluminum not plastic. Fortunately I purchased mine a few years back for a little bit less at $85.
