Does anyone know how to verify if Active Sound Control is working other than:

• Pull the fuse and see if it makes a noticable difference.
• Go to the dealer. They must have a tester?

 

I think what I meant was Active Noise Cancellation instead of ASC. Active Sound Control adjusts the sound system volume in response to noise level.

 

I saw motor week about the new MDX and RLX having actice noise cancellation ......don't think the tsx has it yet if ever.

Also anything electrical can be tested to see if it works PR not.

 

The V6 has it. Don't know how to test

 

On the RL this works, Cover up the small microphone in the center overhead console under light acceleration, the sound difference is quite impressive, on the RL there is also a small microphone in the back seat you have someone cover up both you will know it's working.
