how to remove front seat bottom on a 2010 acura tsx? The wife spilled chocolate milk on the front passenger seat and it now smells and I'm sure it'll get worst due to the tiny holes in the seat. I want to take the seat bottom out and clean it or replace the foam if possible. Is there a DIY on this?
Sort of straight forward, just work your way in from the top down, outside in.
Disconnect battery.
Unplug harnesses under seat.
Unbolt seat rails from floor.
Remove seat.
Then either undo the hog rings holding the bottom seat cover on and work it out with the whole seat assembled, or unbolt the seat back from the bottom and then go to work on the bottom.
I think the rod that holds the seat back to the bottom is assembled with push nuts on both sides so that might give you some headache getting apart.
If it were me, I'd leave it assembled and just pull the whole seat from the car and pull the bottom cover and then the foam.

A couple of additional points:
- Disconnecting the battery is critical since there is an airbag built in the seat and you will need to disconnect the airbag harness before removing the seat.
- There are also seat position sensors on the seat tracks, so careful not to damage them when the seat is pulled out (just rest the seat on some soft surface like old carpet etc.)
- The seat is heavy, so be careful not to scratch anything while you're pulling it out of the car.
