How to copy Driver 1 settings to Driver 2?
Hey guys. Couldn't find where this was asked previously. I am wanting to copy the settings from my Driver 1 to Driver 2 to establish a baseline setting. Every now and then we have to use the second key and its like getting into someone else's car. Nothing even close to my primary driver setting.
So I ask if there is a way to copy the settings over? Also in consideration is how might one turn off the changing of settings when you use different keys? This would work to.
Thanks in advance.

does set -> 2 make it so it copies over ALL the settings too? like the headlamp light on/off, doors locking, interior light length of time, etc? I know they're supposed to be different for each user's needs...was wondering if the set -> 2 did all that in addition to the memory seating.

Here's an experiment if you don't want to unlink #1:
1) Unlock car with fob #1
2) Start car with fob #2
3) Save seat settings to Driver 2
That way you should get it to think driver #1 is going to drive the car when you unlock it with fob 1, so it will load preset 1. When you start the car with driver 2's fob it shouldn't load driver 2's settings so long as you use driver 2's key to start the car only. Then simply tap program -> 2 and it should be golden.
This method seems to work on my 09. When my wife and I swap cars - she always leaves it unlocked in the garage so I never hit unlock on my fob to open it. When I start my car, then, I have to push the #1 button manually to get my setting.

Interesting....ideas guys...I am just way to lazy to program the second key manually. I actually use my valet key daily but was going to swap my other key #2 back in - wife has key #1 so at a minimum she will have settings(radio manually) .
