I'll be plasti-dipin' my grille this weekend like I did my wheels.
I'll be trying a glossy black finish just like the dealership does.

But first of all I need to remove this emblem, anyone know how to?

if u are gonna PD it. why not just tape it off? would that be easier?

 

I'm worried about the edging and the pd.

 

plastidip you can just rip off with no damage right? so why not do the entire thing, then carefully with an exacto knife cut the outline of the emblem, and just rip it off the emblem after you do the entire thing. seems logical to me, but i don't know exactly how it works =P

 

how are you going to get a glossy black finish with plasti dip?
