Hey guys,

I know there's been some recent interest in the Type S full lip kit for the Euro Accord, especially considering Rawesome and Nesterjesters threads showing the aftermarket kits.

I did some digging around and came across a place called Bulletproof Automotive who specialize in getting JDM stuff. Actually, I stumbled across them after seeing pics of the CR-Z kit by Noblesse which they also carry.

Anyways, long story short is they quoted me the following:

Sides: $395 each
Full rear bumper: $962

They need to do more looking around to quote out the front skirt but I'm guessing it will be around $400-$600 considering the size. The rear piece is a full bumper replacement, unlike the aftermarket kits which are an underbody spoiler piece. Also, these come pre-painted so you don't have to get them painted like the aftermarket ones.

That's a great price considering the ones you can get from your Acura dealerships are about the same. These are "landed costs" to their LA warehouse. Shipping will probably kill the deal for me but you local guys might be interested. Contact Mike--he's a great guy. Did a lot of legwork to get me the quote.

yeah I know it's a lot more than what you paid for your aftermarket kit defcon but that's in the ballpark of the USDM ones anyways.

Great find 5thto2nd. That is very similar to what Speedstar in Ontario, Canada was offering. They were selling front lip for $550, side skirts (pair) $700 and rear bumper $800 plus shipping. Only thing is that their stuff comes in by sea freight and can take up to 6 weeks. By the time you add freight and duties into US, their price will be about the same as Bulletproof.

Defcon, that's $2152 to $2352 for the entire kit by Bulletproof. The $395 is for each side skirts (you need 2 of them).

yeah I know tech. That's why I figure Canadian buyers interested in this should probably go through speedstar and buyers in US should probably go through Bulletproof to cut down on shipping costs.

BTW, I think Bulletproof's stuff also comes by sea container so the ETA's might be similar.

Got to admit though, Rawesome getting the lip kit painted and all for $725 is a very good deal.
