HID Projectors for High Beams/DRL and Fog Lights

Hey guys,

Do any of you guys know of anyone who added HID projectors to both the fog lights and high beams/DRL? How would one even go about doing this?

Also, does anyone know of angel eyes/halo eyes for the TSX? I wanted to get them done on mine cause I liked the look on the BMWs.

as for HID projectors, its possible but it will take a lot of custom fabrication. I remember from the 3G TL forums that some guy was using the ES350 projectors on their fog lights.

As for angel eyes, I actually emailed umnitza about it, and they said that the first generation TSX halos will fit our generation TSX. Im thinking of doing it but I guess I have to re-open my headlights again.

Well it's not that hard I think it can definitely be done.
I retrofitted hid projectors on my hatch took a while to get it just right but ive had them since 2005 and they still look great. If your thinking about doing it then you should study up. I learned from a forum called hidplanet.com good luck

verry old pic

Grrr. Seems like a lot of work and a lot of reading up since I don't know that much about HIDs to begin with. I wonder what size projectors would actually fit the high beams and the fog lights. Any ideas?

Well for the fogs, if you have taken out your bumper, there is space behind the bumper, but the actual fog light housing is small. I have no idea what size projectors would actually fit.

Do you guys know anyone that has had the 2g TSX fog lights retrofitted? I'm guessing not since no one mentioned it, but I guess I'll read up and try it over the summer as a side project

Just to revive this old thread. I believe I am the first to retrofit my 1g tsx with lexus es300 projector fogs.

http://www..com/forums/1st-gen-elect...rojectors.html

I'm on the "other" tsx club site...so the link may not work. If it doesn't you can google tsx fog retrofit and click on the tsx club link.

HID fogs are possible. But we're just talking about a retrofitted projector solution to really concentrate the light source. Plus the cut off that projectors offer.

Came across this on e-bay this morning. People who have their fogs broken maybe give these a try.
