hid kit in base model

Hi All

i have a 2010 cu2 (tsx)

I have been thinking of upgrading stock headlights to either Philips crystal vision 4300k or hid kit.

Can a hid kit out of older generation fit? are they same?

Anyone with base that installed hid?

Your car didn't come stock with it? Canadian TSX?

says Aus, Sydney - that's that down under place with the bridge and the funny white building. Evidently Australia spec euro accords don't always get the HIDs either.

Yes, base is actually a proper base spec here because the Accord isn't marketed as a luxury car.

The Euro luxury (comparable to your base)/Nav(Tech) models may have a few more perks then their TSX counterparts but there's not really that much besides the larger 18" rims, wood grain and washers.

Proper European market Accords have even greater features like safety distance computers and making sure you're not drifting off the road etc.

Try OzHonda... only Canadian Base TSX's don't come with the HID kit.

Osram Night Breakers are probably the best halogens for range, not sure if you just want the bulbs to look white...

What blue effect are you talking about? The tinge that last in HID's for a few seconds when it warms up or the cut off colour gradient?

For greater visibility I wouldn't get the "white" halogen globes. Stick to the more "yellow" bulbs for enhanced visibility. What's the point in getting globes for the look if you put yourself and other drivers at risk at night.

I normally buy the ones with increased night vision think it was osrams. They are far from white! I think most bulbs that give off that white look uses a blue cover.

ceb you don't necessarily need to post your links that big. I know before they were hard to see since they were normal text, but a simple underline would do. Just looks kind of goofy you know?

get the full headlight off a junked car... without the HID projector, the HID will look like rice in a halogen housing
