HID Fog Lights Question 35w VS 55w 3000K
Im debating either to get the 35w or the 55w 3000k. what do you guys think? I just want the JDM look. Does anyone have either? whats the pros and con? Would the 55w to much for the housing to over heat and melt it? Did anyone have that problem?
Thanks
Thanks

55w is very bright. our stock hid's are 35w and 55w fogs would block out the low beams. stick with 35w.
my friend got 55w fogs on his maxima recently and he regrets it. it makes the low beams look very weak. i actually just installed a 35w digital slim kit on my tsx. heres a pic:

Thanks bro... I've always prefered 6000k but I might go with the 4300K cause the pic you posted above speaks for itself.

its only been about 3 months.. but i have been using the bulbs that come with this kit (supervision) in my civic, hooked up to a mcculloch hid kit for about a year with no problems. the supervision bulbs are like 10-20 bucks a pair so if one does fail, its very cheap to replace.

First off, I just want to thank Farage for starting this thread and helping us out. Definitely a good choice and great easy/medium mod to do to our cars.
The following is my progress. (FYI, I also replaced the foglight housing cause it cracked while driving on the BQE, little rocks on the ground.)

The low-beams are stock. The HIDs made the iPhone camera use a brighter lighting mode, so it made the headlights look lighter in the "after" pic than the "before" pic.
I got the same exact HID kit as Farage.
35W 4300k HID Slim Kit. Bulb H11
FYI, the ebay seller is definitely one of the best. They shipped it out within 3 hours after placing the order. They also replied to all my questions within a 2 hour period (Work Hours). Shipping took 2 business days.
