HFL Data Connection

Greetings!

We're changing over to AT&T at work and I'm trying to decide what phone I should get that will work well with my '09 TSX tech. I currently have a Helio Ocean which is very buggy with the TSX so I'm glad for the opportunity to get a new phone.

Anyway, I was wondering if anyone has any experience using the data connection feature available on the TSX. From the HFL website it doesn't seem that there are many phones that actually support the feature, so if any of you have used it at all is it anything special?

I'm currently trying to decide between an iPhone and Blackberry Bold. Any suggestions?

Thanks in advance.

I have a Blackberry Curve, and it works great with the TSX. I got it to upload all the contacts in the phonebook in the car.

basically you need a phone that allow 'blue tooth transfers'... i know my unlocked V505 from way back in the day allows it (when i pull the sim out of my iphone and plug it in the v505 data connection works).

I know in general i have had good luck with data connection stuff from nokia and motorola. However if the provider (like verizon) locks the data transfer / ability to act as a modem feature then you are screwed. Also the phone should support 'modem gateway' or whatever its called.

I have the Blackberry 8830, but my carrier is Verizon (well known for locking up the phone's features) so no dice with the data connection.
