Help finding vin stickers, front bumper, 2009
Hi all,
When I had my now new 2009 TSX inspected for structural damage, every panel had a vin, no unibody damage or core support damage, just a nice straight car. However the tech did notice the front bumper had been painted. Does anyone know if there's a vin sticker on the original front bumper on the new gen TSX? I'm trying to determine if the front bumper was replaced or just painted.
Thanks in advance.

Why? If the rest of the car is straight (and you've already bought it) then a painted or replaced bumper is immaterial.
Living in an environment with parallel parking will most likely get your bumpers scratched and a license plate screw jab is sufficient to require a bumper replacement if it can't be repainted.
Either way it isn't a big deal. A replacement fender or hood would be problematic.

Agreed, I was just curious more than anything. I know bumper resprays are common.
I'm very scarred from my last car which had a clean carfax when I bought it, then 6 months later an accident from the former owner showed up. Not a good experience.
But I'm loving the TSX and glad I had the structural inspection.
