help on buying a TSX
first time buying a car and i would like to know what the invoice of the TSX is? is dealing online with the internet manager better than negotiating in person? i would much prefer to do it online.
if i offered 26,000 for the 2009 TSX would that be considered low-balling?

If you are looking for a Base model, then you are within the ball park. People are paying between $28K to $30K out the door price (includes Freight/PDI and taxes).

As opposed to Internet vs. In-person, depends on the dealership. Some Internet prices are low to give you a sense of no-haggle, and won't give you any wiggling room, where as some internet prices are above lower than the lowest they are willing to go to get you to come in and negotiate since dealerships know negotiating is a hassle.
Invoice on a 2009 TSX is $26,822 (according to quick Google search). In this economy any reasonable offer is fine as some are desperate. At worse, they'll just say no or say the lowest they can go. You've got nothing to lose I say; if you hit em with 26 and they say the lowest they can go is 27k, take that to the next dealership and tell them what the previous one just offered you. You've got bargaining chips as long as you shop around.
