Heated Seat - I need your help
Hey guys,
I think I may be having a problem with my passenger heated seat that was recently replaced (heating element replaced)
If you look at the seat bottom it is split up into three sections. I'll call section 1- closest to the seat back, section 2- middle and section 3- closest to the glove compartment.
My situation is section one and middle heat up nice and hot with section 1 being slightly hotter. However, section 3 only gets slightly warm. Now I realize that the heating element only goes about halfway up section 3, so section 3 will only get hot half way up, but like I said this section only gets slightly warm.
I was wondering if anyone could confirm this with their car. Does your section 3 (closest to the glove compartment not get as warm as the middle and section 1 (closest to the seat back)?
Please keep in mind that my test was conducted NOT sitting in the seat but by using my hand to feel the heat because if you sit in it you will not be able to tell the heat difference between the 3 sections of the seat bottom. This is all for the passenger seat bottom.
I would really appreciate your help on this one guys as this has been going on since the first 3 days of owning the car and it's completely killing my "New Car" buzz.
