Headlight height

On my 1G TSX, the HID headlights had a straight line at the top when they were on. Example, if you shine the lights at a wall, the top of the light was level. On my 09, the passenger light is higher than the drivers. I took it to service for a couple things last week and mentioned this to my service advisor. He said the drivers light is slightly lower than the passenger to prevent blinding oncoming traffic. But he would adjust the passenger one down to match the drivers. If they did, it wasn't enough. Anyone else notice this? Or have I completely confused everyone?

Yes, I noticed the same thing since day one. I was gonna take it back to the dealer, but my friend told me the same reason as you heard. I think it makes sense.

So just adjust the driver one so that it is level with the pass one.

They aren't supposed to be level. The drivers side should be lower. Even the 1Gs were like this. It's to prevent blinding oncoming traffic, as someone previously mentioned.

My bf told me the same thing, before I even noticed it.

Thanks for the responses. I guess I will try to get used to it. But oddly enough, on my 06 TSX, they both were perfectly level. So I guess my 06 was off. I was considering lowering the passenger one to match the drivers side one (since the service advisor said the drivers one is lower to prevent blinding) but I could not figure out how to adjust them. But since everyone else's is the same, I'll live with it.
