hand brake

i notice that when i have the hand brake up, the DRL disables? why?

DRL= Daytime RUNNING Lights.
Hand brake up = NOT RUNNING.
make sense?

actually, you would be surprise how many times i driven with the handbrake on cuz i always forget to put it down. (i'd realize it in like 30 seconds, but still lol)

Been this way in many cars for years. Many cars you cannot turn off the DRL's without using the parking brake (hand or foot).

I am constantly amazed at the number of vehicles I see idling with their headlights on while parked, apparently many people don't know this. Of course, I don't think many people use their parking brake.

To the OP - the owner's manual is always a good place to start but it never hurts to ask the question. Hope you don't take the ribbing personally.

haha nah i've done a number of ribbing myself it is actually my first car with DRL (came from civic) so never knew that function lol

you might have, i have stupid ideas all the time, god knows where they come from, but theres the possibility that i mightve seen it and it triggered me to go watch slim jim commercials on youtube

i think they both did, brothers were really popular then apparently, will have to verify that later though, no sound on the pc im using
