These are not "name" brand bulbs but they seem to do the trick. The place I got them at also had the Piaa wizard 5000K in stock but the guy there said he wouldn't fork out the cash for the Piaa bulbs. They are made by Litech. Who ever the hell they are. So here are some photos.

The first shot is the comparo and the second shot is with both bulbs in.

yeah, those look white to me.
like 5000k.

I personally like 5000k-6000k bulbs, they're nice.

The look great. Where did you get those from? And what is the full name of the product? I might get them online if they're not available at my local area.

Yeah they look much better. I'm not sure if the brightness of them is going to be any different then the stock H11s seeing as how they are "cheaper", but as I said earlier, with the HIDs the fogs are more for looks then function. The factory fogs on my 05 Accord Hybrid were really good and they were factory bulbs. I don't get it.....

well the fogs on my Infiniti are equally worthless.
they build them into the damn headlight housings for god's sake.
they do... well nothing at all but add a button to the interior really and give
you one more bulb to replace over time.

I had the fogs in my TSX independently wired.
if they weren't able to turn on by themselves, I would never even use them at all.
and I only use them now to save having to use my HIDs when my lights are supposed
to be on (rain, dusk, dawn) but I don't need the light output of the HIDs.

I dunno, pure asthetic reasons it seems now a days...

I got them from the local speed shop but here is the URL for the bulbs.

http://www.intelliscentcorp.com/hdltsw.html

They have a one year replacement warranty so I figured I couldn't go wrong. Especially considering they only cost me $35 CAD vs $100 for the Piaa. Which as you've seen from my earlier posts today didn't look white at all.

^nah, 4000k will not look white.
4300k isn't white either really.
I would say 5000k is a natural white and 6000k is white with a hint of blue.
I think 6500k is white with a hint of purple.
4300k to me is white with a hint of yellow, like a "soft white" lightbulb.

I've toyed with the idea of having the fogs independently wired so I can use them without any other lights, but I would have to do something that would allow me to turn the fogs on without the headlights, parking lights, and DRLs. Anyone have any ideas on how this might work?

(old picture)

what I did was buy a service manual, an electric troubleshooting manual, and I looked
in my local phonebook for "automotive wiring." there were two shops listed.

I called and explained what I wanted done, one shop didn't do that stuff and one
gladly did. I brought in the car, said I want my fogs to turn on independently of any
other lights using the OEM foglight switch still, and the tech had it done in a matter
of minutes.

there is a DIY here for the 1st gen that involves tapping into a relay under the hood,
running wires and a bunch of stuff, but this guy did none of that. he altered something
in the column by the switch and something down by the fuse panel in the driver's side
kick panel area, that was it. he said is was super easy and that any tech that understood
any wiring at all could achieve it easily, especially with the manual and the ETM.
they only charged me like $30 or so to have it done I think.

I guess I will have to start calling around town.

I wish I had more details, sorry.
he was done so quick and wouldn't tell me many details at all.
said the diagrams are in the book and it is simple as pie.
so I doubt you need a wiring expert or anything.
but either a Helms Service Manual or the Electric Troubleshooting Manual
are highly recommend to get and bring with you if you don't already have them.

I'll have to see if I can get a Helms manual. I don't know if they are out for the 09 yet. I could always go to Acura for the wiring diagram. I've been going there for ten years and I've given them enough beer....

I looked as well. The SM I want for sure but if I can get the wiring diagram from Acura I will go the route.

Well, I just bought these:

http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/Nokya...Q5fAccessories

Hopefully they end up being a decent match to the HIDs. Just about anything's an improvement over the stock bulbs though.

MMsTSX, does the green indicator still come on when you just turn on the driving lights, or does it still only come on when you have both the headlight and the driving lights on?

?
by driving lights do you mean the fog lights?

there are three icons on my console that light up due to lights:

fog light indicator
lights on indicator
high beam indicator

the lights on indicator will come on when I have either my parking lights on or my HIDs on.
it always comes on if either are lit up and never comes on if neither are lit up.

the fog light indicator will not light up if no lights are on to begin with and then I turn
on my fog lights independently. but when my headlights are on to begin with, and then
I turn my fog lights on, the fog light indicator will light up. it is a bit screwy.
and also there is another bug per se: when the lights are on to start with, and then I
turn the fogs on, they light up and the indicator light for them lights up. but then if
I leave the lights on, and turn the fog lights off, they actually stay lit, and the light
stays lit as well. if the switch is off, when the regular lights (HIDs) turn off, they will
shut off the fogs with them as well.

and the high beam indicator only comes up when I have high beams on.
