Hi Guys,

Over the weekend my front driver's side lip got cause in a deep pot home on slight incline. It looks like it is just that lip, and I found the part online here http://www.acurapartsnow.com/auto-pa...6-speed-manual

At $137 it is not too bad, but I wonder if I can install it myself?

Will it be easy?

I suspect you will have to reuse the hardware. There are those nut clips and s few special studs.

If you can remove the old one.....reuse the hardware.....then put new one on.

There is some two sided tape holding it on too.

I installed a set on my wagon 123.

My guess is that the incline is what did it. It was a pull off and all gravel so was hard to gauge it, but I had to get directions on the phone.

Yeah that is the plan. I will take the old one off and figure out if can reuse all the hardware or not. That will also give me an Idea of the install part. Seems easy enough tho.

Its easy.

You could go to bernardi or other sites and get the install instructions.

Happy I don't have an SE... The potholes in Chicagoland are crazy, and often I drive down the street to walmart and mcdonalds and the potholes there also are crazy.

Was the only way to get the Manual. The lip kit and Sports bumper really makes it look great!
