I wanted to get the opinions of the Acurazine community as to whether the price quote I got for a brand new Silver/Taupe 2010 TSX Base I4 automatic is good or if I should try to get the dealer to go lower. Is this price low enough to compensate for the fact that as soon as I drive it over the curb, it is instantly a year old car because it is the prior year’s model. I plan to keep the car for approximately 5 years, so that is when I’ll take the depreciation hit for buying the 2010.

Here are the particulars of the deal: $26,370 +$250 doc fee + sales tax. The Acura Dealer I’m working with is located in the US in the state of Ohio.

I was quoted 27400 + tax/license for a 2011 base I4. You should be able to get a better deal IMO.

Assuming low miles, I think you're getting a good deal if you stay at $25.5k or lower (out the door).

Fort Wayne Acura gave me a price of 26,833 during the month of August. You can do a lot better than that. Try to bargain another 600-1,000 dollars off.

I just bought a 2010 in December before the 2011's were out for 25,995. You can definitely do better than that.
