Gen 2 door lock actuators holding up?

It's fairly common knowledge that the Gen 1 TSX had door lock actuator issues. Even Youtube video on DIY replacement!

Are the systems/parts different for Gen 2 models? They've only been out since late 2008 - everyone's still holding up ok?

My driver side actuator would make a buzzing noise on rainy days or super humid days. I had it replaced under warranty and never had any issues since.

I believe there's a new TSB about this on 09-12's, so I'm doubting it's been truly resolved.

I haven't had any issues with them on my '10 TSX. However, I them all replaced under warranty in my previous car, an '07 Civic, because they would start squeaking when unlocking the doors.

My door will no longer unlock by using the key fob. I'd have to use the key directly...then when I start to drive, it won't lock by itself. It makes the noises but it won't do anything...I'm guessing its a warranty issue, which is good to hear cause its really annoying.

Mine are fine, but I did have two of them replaced early on because they made a really weird high pitched noise once in a while, but now all is well. 2010 with 75K on the clock.

I think the best solution is to just not lock the doors. Might i suggest something like this?
