Hi!! I know this is a stupid question but how would I remove this panel? I feel like i’m going to break it if i yank on it. I’m trying to hardwire my dash camera. 2013 TSX Tech.

I can't really answer your question, but since you mentioned wiring in a dash cam... another member pointed out this slick adapter that goes between the factory power plug and socket for the rear view mirror, and it'll give you a powered USB port right at the mirror. It's a little bulky, but once it's tucked up by the window, it's not visible from the driver's seat and barely noticeable from outside the car.
I highly recommend it, and it might greatly simplify your project.

I just checked that thread to make sure because I remember mentioning it there, but the box said it was good up to 1.5A.
I can't find any useable information on your dashcam. But it looks like it comes with a usb plug for the accessory power, so taking power over usb means is limited to 1.5A, I think. You should be able to check your cig-lighter usb adapter and it should have a rating. But I'm like 95% certain that dongle will work for you.
I got it and the shortest right-angle micro-USB cord I could find on Amazon. I think it was like 4". Fit perfectly where I mounted the camera up high by the mirror; stuck on the black dots part of the windshield
I looked on the Viofo website and it said under battery & charging "NO battery, use capacitor, 5V 1A." So I'm pretty sure that's fine lol. I'll just use that instead of having to worry about messing up clips and stuff. tysm!!
