I have HID 3000K from HID extra. They work well and a are quite bright but it depends on what you are looking for. If you want people that are looking at your car to see a deep yellow, then I would go with the Nokya. The HID light does not have much color to it when you are looking at the light on the car. The light it puts out is a very obvious yellow though. when you see it hit the road.

I say go for the yellows! They work extremely well in rainy/foggy conditions, plus IMHO they look better than HID (for fogs, anyway).

u think i will have any problem with my nokya yellow fogs?? because both my fog light lenses are cracked... fml... sometimes condensation gets inside... so far it hasn't affected the stock bulbs at all

If no moisture is getting inside then you are fine but I would eventually replace them. Until then rub a very thin layer of clear silicone caulk over the crack.

Sorry if I'm kinda threadjacking, but I didn't want to start a new thread and thought you guys could help me.
I'm about to buy new foglights for my car, and I have no idea what to do.
I want them to be either matching or slightly more bright white/blue then the stock lowbeams.
Should I get HIDs or LEDs or what?
And also, I noticed some of them have stuff like ballasts and stuff? what's all that for? thanks!

Gets bored easily
The "search" function on the forum can be your friend but in a nutshell:
- Hoen Xenonmatch H11 bulbs are an extremely close match to stock HID/Xenon headlights. I'm sure others will have other brands they prefer, but Hoen has worked well for me. If you go HIDs, somewhere around 4000K-4500K will most closely match your HID lowbeams. If you want to go more blue, 6000K. DDM Tuning is one manufacturer of inexpensive HID kits (where I'm ordering mine from); I've several friends who've used DDM successfully.
- I've never seen LED lights actually used for anything more than decoration, so I can't comment. I'm ordering a set of HID foglights myself right now, to try something new.
- Ballasts are needed for HIDs.
