Fog Light Broken

Has anyone had an experience with TYC products to replace an OEM fog light assembly. Found mine took a stone and didn't survive. it's about 50 bucks less than an OEM but you know what they say you get what you pay for. So if anyone has any knowledge please let me know. Here's a link.

Thanks in advance.

Many people with the Mercedes C300 before the facelift when they switched to LED fogs have had this issue where a rock would take the glass out. You could look on eBay or go to junk yards to see if you can find an OEM. Same rule applies for fog lights and headlights: don't skimp out or you'll regret it, though i'm not questioning TYC's reliability because I don't have experience with them.

Once you replace it, get some lamin-x or clear tape and cover your foglight glass to prevent this from happening.

one of the complaints with the 1st gen tsx was foglights that cracked. Both of them cracked within the 1st 6 months. I was lucky-the dealer replaced them free as a one-time goodwill. Helps that I bought numerous cars from them. I put rockblocker (no longer in business) on them-no problems in almost 5+years.

I made it 43,000 miles and 2 years and first time. Kinda thinking the dealer would laugh at me for a cracked fog light trying to get it warrantied. I"ll have to look into the clear tape.

I was not expecting to have the foglights fixed for free-the service manager saw that they were cracked and told me they would replace them at no cost to me. Can not refuse that.
