I hope your wrist heals quickly! Hate to hear someone get injured - this is also the first time I read of an injury after an accident.

I know how it feels to be in an accident man but the important thing is nothing serious happened to you. I got into one last year and having an injury after it is the worst. Some incompetent driver rear ended me and has caused me neck and back problems now.

Good luck on your recovery!

Sorry to hear that. If you don't mind me asking, how did you break your wrist since the lady backed into you? She must've floored it..I bet she didn't even look.

I see your plate. Thanks for your service. What branch were you? I used to be in Army ROTC before a med DQ

Sorry to hear about this man, hope you're ok. I just got into an accident about 4 weeks ago in my 09 TSX. Hate to see this happen to someone else. I'm still waiting to get my car back and still have another week.

Although the damage doesn't look that bad, it'll add up quickly. The airbags will be the most expensive to replace, my left curtain airbag and front seat airbag deployed and cost about 7k to replace.

Thanks all. My whole left arm aches, especially my wrist. The insurance claims adjustor is going to look at the car tomorrow. The young lady that hit me lied about having insurance and that was discovered today. I just want my car back and for my wrist to be okay.

She attempted to cross traffic turning left while one lane (closest to her) was backed up enough to let her out while the lane i was in was flowing smoothly...until she cut out right in front of me. It happened so quickly I'm just glad her kid that wasn't buckled in a child seat was okay.

Supposed to be done next week, last estimate was $9100. I'm rockin' a full arm cast now that keeps my elbow at a lovely 90 degree bend and currently driving a 2011 Chevy Malibu. Pain is mostly gone from my wrist and I mostly only need the pain meds at night. Hope it heals fast!

Still don't have my car back. I'm getting my first cast taken off on the 28th. I went to look at the MDX Advance tonight. I am considering trading up while its still easy to prove diminished value. I am already in for the Type-S bodykit though, so I'd have to sell that off to someone once it arrives. We'll see!

I'm sure you'll have no problem getting rid of the kit here on the black market.

Any reason you're looking at MDXs? Seems like a completely different car than the TSX...

No real good reason, I might still consider another TSX, but the MDX was very sexy. I like the umber interior and technology in the MDX.

I also stopped by the dealer in the way home who offered 22,000 on trade in because of the accident. Without the accident he said 26,500. I am going to get boinked on this one by my insurance company no doubt.

Car feels the same as before the accident. Thats a new dash on the inside. Repair job is very solid except one thing. I noticed they didnt re-fill the washer fluid. I bought $4 rain-x bugwash. I poured it in and it came right back out the bottom moments later. I'll have to call them tomorrow. Thanks for all the kind words everybody. I'll be hopefully getting my cast cut off on Monday and going to a shorter cast.

Looks like $11-12k in damage if the airbags deployed.

The worse part is if it's not a leased car you will get hit when you sell it. There will be an accident on the carfax records.

Did the other party's insurance pay? Because if thats the case I think you can file a loss of resale value claim? If your own insurance paid for everything then I dont think u can . It never hurts to ask though.
Glad you r doing well, and I hope you can get your car's value back. Good luck and best wishes towards a speed recovery for ur wrist.

Thanks. I'm definately going to fight for it. Its my own insurance company under uninsured motoroists policy. The girl that caused the accident didnt carry insurance.

Definately aware of this now. I have decided to fight the diminished value, hopefully with some success. This TSX is likely the last vehicle I'll purchase for a long time. Leasing seems to be the way for me.

I am in on the Type-S group buy. I hope to have that installed next month or in May
