First time ever joining a forum and really need help on where to start.

Good day guys,

I'm new to this site and really don't know where to go. I just purchased my first 2012 CBP acura tsx 5AT tech 2 weeks ago. I've been browsing this site through the whole process ot getting it. Been very helpful in closing the deal. Can anyone direct me where to begin?
Thanks in advance.

here she is.

first off WELCOME. congrats on the car, you'll enjoy her. the pictures don't work (we likely have to be friends with you on facebook) but if you upload them to photobucket, you can copy and past the IMG code from each photo here. the best advice that can be given for the first time joining aforum is using the SEARCH button. many questions have already been discussed, and new threads just make good info harder to find. if your questions arent answered, feel free to start a new thread, we're all pretty cool(except killerG, he's a skank) =D

where ya from? do you have any mods planned? you can start a thread, or just add to this telling us about yourself

Thanks so much pyro. I did what you said about the pics but I used imageshack instead =) hehe yeah, i'm not quite sure about threads and all that jazz. I even thought I was going to get in trouble for starting this thread. basically, i really just want to learn more about my tsx and the mods it deserves =) i'm super excited since this is my first brand new ride. i'm from memphis and yes i do have mods planned but really dont know where to start or what to get. thats how new and bad i am with all this stuff haha. i love cars but really didnt have the time nor money before. now that im a little set employmentwise. im ready to go and eager to learn! anyways, here she is. her name is Sally i would love to hear what you think. Thanks again for replying. i appreciate it.

Clean ride! The tinted tails are not for me, but clean overall! Search up intakes and you will get a bunch of result for brands, performances, reviews, etc.

Same for coils, but most popular would probably be teins or meganz. A few has BC and H&R

check the tires and wheels subsection(we have 5 subsections to categorize stuff) one thing is that our wheels bolt patterns are 5x114.5 or something and most are like 5x120. the 2012 should be almost exactly the same as the 2011, and very minor changes from 2009-10. wheels and suspension not being one of the changes i believe

i just emailed ronjon and he said that he dont have the harrows in 19". I think the 18" are fine but do you guys think the 20" will be too much? i'm not quite sure how much of a difference lookwise on the car for the 18" and 19" though. bahhhhhh

use the search, someone has the harrows in 18 on a silver sx

also, for the year RJ is supposed to be "killing it" on wheels, im surprised he doesnt have more options like a 19 harrow, or an 18 vega, the former of which im interested in

thanks killerG. I looked it up and i actually like how it looked. i think its pretty much a done deal. you think liquid graphite would better fit my CBP or let them powder coat it satin black? kinda inbetween. thanks

depends on what you like bud, i personally like contrast with my wheel choices, so id go with liquid graphite, but if you are a big fan of black you could get them powdercoated.

dont forget that the harrows come with wheel inserts that you can ask for in CBP so you get the best of both worlds

You can get it and if anything happens, just swap out the intake. It's an easy swap and it's doubtful that it'll mess up your car...unless of course your drive it through a huge lake and hydrolock it.

I would consider these for sale in the Black Market forum. Work Varianza T1S. They are essentially diamond cut with black on the sides which would look great on a black sedan. In order to install the TL TPMS, they had to drill out the mounting hole a bit and was unsure how to fit TSX/RDX TPMS in there. I can't imagine that it wouldn't be difficult to do with a rubber washer to create the seal. I would have bought them if they were full silver polished.

really? hmmm. interesting. the service department was telling me how all the air from the CAI will make some engine light on my gauge light up permanently or something.

and ppower i'm not really digging those rims. and not to be picky but i want NEW shoes on my new ride. hehehe thanks for the info though =)

LOL if that service dept told u that...i'd go to a different one from now on. the air from CAI/SRI/Stock intake is all the same air. it's the air outside??? someone needs to fire that service guy man...unless he was saying that shit to scare you..if he really believes that...wow. only difference in the "air" between the intakes would be the temperature of the air...not even sure how much difference there is with the intakes. and no if you install the intake right, you will not get a CEL (check engine light)

i helped my boy install an SRI on his IS and nothing happened. loads of other people here have swapped out intakes themselves and no light...
