First Time Acura Owner

First off I would like to thank Acurazine and all it's great members and their very informative posts. I purchase my 2009 TSX from the Chevrolet dealership I work for and thus far I am really impressed with this car. I have never considered owning an Acura until this one came in as a trade in. The car has 47k on it and is as clean as can be with all the the servicing done at a local Acura dealer which was a big plus. The day after I purchase the car 1/18/14 I found acurazine and I think I've read every post start to finish. My TSX is PWP/Tan Auto with Tech and of course I've already started my modding and thus far this my list:
Tinted Windows
Debadge
Rear Spoiler
LED interior/trunk/Lic plate swap ( best $16 dollars I've ever spent)
Honda V6 chrome exhaust Tips.

Due to arrive on Tuesday: Ronjon Legacy 7's and Sumitomo 245/40-19 ( did a lot of reading on these tires and they seem to be a pretty good bang for the buck"

I have scheduled the roof to be gloss black wrapped next month. I really have have no plans to "drop" the car at this time which seems to be a big no no on this site but I figured I could rethink it at a later date.

Again thank you to all the members here and I'm looking forward to being a active member in this great community . I will post pics when I am granted permission ..
Matt

@ Utah, I patiently awaiting the ban hammer to swiftly come down upon me.
Battle, I really like the Spoiler. I purchased it from eBay for $123 painted and the thankfully the color match was very good. I had my body shop install it NOT using the bolt down method and the fitment is very good. I know some people have had issues with one side or the other raised a bit but I believe they used a little more 3M tape to remedy this.
I also ordered a paint rear roof spoiler from thebmwshop but it is a tad whiter than the factory PWP. Once I have the roof wrapped I will have it painted gloss black to match.

Congrats on the buy! Can you provide us the link where you bought the deck lid spoiler? I'm very interested in buying one soon.

Who said no no to dropping the car?

Don't do it cheap, do it right.

The rears require SPC control arms, but other than that, it's great addition for looks, and handling.

BTW, that ebay ad is bs. They don't offer it in glacier blue metallic.

Im suprised they dont offer those colors unless its a color match issue but I would think if the could match pwp they could match anything. Might want to message them to ask the question. The TSX is on the lift now getting they wheels installed.

Are you buying from a dealership or private owner? Service records are always nice. I would just do a complete check to make sure everything is functional.

i did buy the car, its pretty nice and i got a good deal, the only thing that bothered me is that the brake pedal was low, i mean i had to push pretty much to make the car stop plus there was some sound coming from the rear wheels like humming noise. maybe the tires are old or something.

other then that i did not see or feel anything.

any idea about the brake to why its so low?

thanks
