First new part from Heeltoe/Fastline for the CU2

We have broken ground on carbon fiber parts for the CU2. First item is a spark plug cover...after that....well, what should we do?

Awesome! When will it be available?

As for what you should do next...Verify that the Rotora and/or StopTec BBK for the 1st gen is a direct bolt-on to the 2nd gen. I know StopTec says it is, but I have yet to see someone try it.

I should have some within a few weeks.

The brakes I think are interchangeable. Racingbrake says the rotors are the same too although I have yet to verify personally.

I know the rotors are the same diamater and all, but my main concern is the brackets for the relocated calipers. I'd want to be 100% certain it's a direct match before I were to buy a kit.

Which company is making the carbon fiber goodies? I'm assuming it isn't CT-E stuff.

It sounds like Heeltoe's own company Fastline is making them.

These plug covers we are making are going to cost $149 each. Perfectly constructed, 1x1 weave using a guy that has already been very successful making parts for us (he has done everything from wings and hoods to sunroof panels for us under the Medieval-Pro brand). It would REALLY help things along if we had some preorders though! If anyone is looking for a really nice carbon engine accent part we are looking for 10 PREORDERS (that means YOU DON'T NEED TO PAY FOR THE PART NOW, just put an order in on heeltoeauto.com to log your commitment to buy once the items are done and they meet your expectations!). The ship date is PENDING adequate pre-order volume!

PREORDER HERE:
http://www.heeltoeauto.com/Fastline-...-pr-64873.html

As incentive we can toss in free shipping on these items for the first 10 buyers.

We have done a lot of successful buys like these in the past and are really excited at the prospect of getting CU2 parts off the ground!

The design of this part will, as mentioned, incorporate 1x1 weave, infusion process for guaranteed ZERO bubbles and minimal-to-nonexistent waves in the weave. Dry carbon has gotten a lot of press lately for its superior strength to weigh balance, but come on. This is a plug cover, we want it to LOOK great, which 9/10 of the time dry-production DOESN'T! We are eliminating the Acura emblem as well. You could put a couple holes to reinstall it but we decided the emblem-delete is better for the global market and is better for folks going for a Honda conversion.

I drove to his house yesterday and he installed it in 10 minutes. I literally live 3 miles from him. Please order these--he says that if there is enough buzz about the spark plug covers, he'll consider making an intake valve cover . Here are some photos:

I don't think that it would be too expensive. It's light--it's carbon fiber.

Hey, look at that air scoop towards the drivers side from the radiator cap. Wonder why we don't get that here and instead a factory HAI?

Also, look at the power steering pump. What gives? Is this a pic of the CU2 at all or are we just seeing it for the plug/intake/manifold covers?

true, mine is not like that... :p

Mr Heeltoe, will u guys go on and create the CF version of the intake manifold cover + air intake cover? I think I'll wait and buy altogether so the delivery cost can be minimized.
